Why We Carry Truths

Some truths stay with you.

The most meaningful lessons rarely arrive all at once.

They reveal themselves over time.

In conversations.

In setbacks.

In quiet moments.

In ordinary days that become unforgettable.

Truths Worth Carrying was created to capture those moments — one reflection at a time.

Because sometimes one honest thought is enough to change the direction of a day.

A NOTE FROM DREW

A few things I learned along the way.

I've been fortunate to learn from a lot of different chapters of life. Some happened on championship teams. Some happened in professional locker rooms. Some happened in classrooms. Some happened on television sets. The most important ones happened at home, as a husband and a father.

Over the years, I started writing down the thoughts I didn't want to lose. Not because I thought I had all the answers, but because I knew I'd need the reminders too.

I didn't invent these truths. Most of them were here long before me, and they'll still be here long after I'm gone.

I've simply learned them, lived them, forgotten them, found them again, and carried them through different seasons of my life. These are the ones that stayed with me.

Eventually, those notes became this book. One thought. One question. One page at a time.

I don't expect every page to stay with you. But I hope somewhere along the way, you find a few truths worth carrying, too.
